    Michelle Jarboe, Real Estate Reporter, Crain’s Cleveland Business

    Michelle Jarboe has been writing about real estate and economic development in Northeast Ohio since 2007. She joined the  newsroom at Crain’s Cleveland Business in May, after a dozen years at The Plain Dealer. A Rust Belt native, she studied journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and obtained a graduate certificate in urban real estate development and finance from Cleveland State University. She’s a past president and current director of the National Association of Real Estate Editors. Jarboe lives in Cleveland’s North Collinwood neighborhood with her husband and young daughter.


     Yvette Ittu, Executive Vice President, Greater Cleveland Partnership and President, Cleveland Development Advisors

    Yvette M. Ittu is the executive vice president of finance and operations of the Greater Cleveland Partnership. In addition, she is president of Cleveland Development Advisors (CDA), a private equity real estate investment firm.  Yvette is also chairperson of the Cleveland International Fund, a private equity firm that operates as an EB-5 regional center authorized by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Each of these entities have a goal to be a driving force for economic development throughout Northeast Ohio.

    Prior to joining CDA, Yvette was an associate with the law firm of Calfee, Halter and Griswold LLP practicing in the areas of public law and public finance. She served as bond counsel on multiple financings for the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, the City of Cleveland, and several other Ohio local governments. In addition, Yvette served as finance director for the City of Lakewood and held several financial management positions for the City of Cleveland including the chief financial officer post for Cleveland Public Power.

    Yvette obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. In addition, she is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Cleveland State University.

    Damon Taseff, Principal, Allegro Realty Advisors

    Damon M. Taseff has spent his career advising clients in all facets of the commercial real estate industry. By leveraging his skill set in strategic planning, portfolio management and financial analysis to address real estate problems with practical and effective solutions, he has successfully consulted and advised a wide range of clients including private and publicly traded corporations, public sector entities and private investors.

    In 2011, he was nominated as a Member of the Crain’s Cleveland Business Journal Forty Under 40 and in 2014 he was awarded a Marshall Memorial Fellowship from The German Marshall Fund of the United States. He is a member of the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2016. He currently is a board member of The Campus District Inc., and Board President of St. Augustine Health Ministries.

    Mr. Taseff earned his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and his B.A. from Ohio University. He holds an SIOR designation and a State of Ohio Real Estate Brokerage license. He lives in Ohio City with his wife, Ashley, and their three children Alta, Mather and Case.

     Paul Voinovich, President, Vocon

    Paul M. Voinovich continues to be a leader in the Cleveland business community. In 1995, after graduating from John Carroll University, Paul joined Vocon, a leading national architecture and design firm founded by his sister. As a result of the firm’s family first culture, clients can sense the close- knit work environment, which has helped Vocon distinguish itself from other firms in both local and national markets. Vocon has grown significantly under Paul’s leadership to include over 175 professional staff members with offices in Cleveland and New York. With 25 years of experience, Paul has worked on projects ranging from new corporate headquarters to multi-family developments. As Principal, he continually provides transformational leadership, facilitating the collaboration and teamwork that leads to design excellence and the highest levels of service for Vocon’s diverse client base. The surest measures of Vocon’s success are the many long-standing client relationships Paul has developed and maintained year after year.

    Paul also remains committed to the community in which he lives, by supporting and holding leadership positions within numerous organizations such as the Young Presidents Organization and Achievement Centers for Children. Paul is a 2009 Leadership Cleveland Graduate, John Carroll University Board Member and Greater Cleveland Sports Commission Board Member. In 2007, Paul was also named to Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 under 40. However, Paul remains true to Vocon‘s family-first philosophy, as his passion clearly centers around wife and five children.
